I am delighted to announced that for the first time, I composed and produced original music for another short film titled "Breaking Free" directed and written by my buddy Adam Lim. It was quite a challenge in the beginning because I had to work differently compare to making my own music. I was glad it all worked out in the end. Recently, one of my HipHop beat titled "Aggrestringz" was used in a short film directed and written by my buddy Adam Lim for a 72 hour shootout film competition. The rule was to write, act, shoot, direct and edit within 72 hours. Pretty impressive I must say that he was able to pulled it off. You can check out the film The Last Straw on Vimeo.

POMATIC presents Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster Mash Hitz is finally here! My latest mashup masterpiece that I've been working on for the past few months. Taking Lady Gaga's hit songs and mashing them up with lots of renown past and present artists. The only issue that I had with this album was the fact that some of Gaga's acapellas were DIY and not studio acapellas. I tried my best to fix those DIY acapella so it would sound better with the song that I mashed to. I think the result came out pretty good in my opinion. After a long hibernation, I am finally back with my latest masterpiece called POMATIC presents Eminem - The Mash Hitz LP. What started out months ago as a Mash Mix EP has now turned into 20 tracks of Eminem madness. Featuring most of his hit songs mashed/remixed/tweaked with some of today's hottest jamz. Depeche Mode - Peace (POMATIC Remix) is my latest entry for Depeche Mode's "Peace" remix contest hosted by Beatportal. You can listen to the original version Here. This remix was quite a challenge and took me the longest time to finish out of all the remixes I've done in the past, but I think it was well worth the time. I maintained the original melody and added a new melody direction towards the mid way of the song. I call it the "Electro Breakbeat meets Retro Synth Pop Mix!" Got some exciting news to share with y'all so here goes... 1) Lovespirals - This Truth (POMATIC Remix) is now available for download on iTunes and Amazon. Please support Lovespirals and POMATIC by downloading the single...ya dig! 2) Some of you might be wondering what happened to the September mashups? Well, I've been hard at work since the early September in creating lots of new mashups for a gig I just did this past Saturday (09-20). I was invited by The Opium Group as a guest DJ at Prive Nightclub in Miami. If you been to Miami South Beach, most likely you've been to Prive. It was quite an experience for me, I had a great time. I have some video clips to share with y'all of me spinning, so stay tuned for that. 3) My Bruce Lee inspired track titled "Pomatic vs. Bruce Lee - Like Water (Enter The Dragon)" has been in the final stage for weeks now, I will try to debut it very soon! 4) Last but not least, the guys over at Audioporn Central decided to put together "The Ultimate Katy Perry Mashup Compilation" for this summer's smash hit, I Kissed A Girl. Luckily, my "I Kissed A Glamorous Girl" made the cut. Anyway, you have to check out this compilation. I guarantee you will be sick of this song after listening to all 18 versions! =)

1) Paul van Dyk - Far Away (POMATIC Remix) is my latest entry for PvD's Far Away remix contest. I found out about this contest exactly a week ago and the deadline for submission was 2 days ago. I was worried at first, but was able to finish in fashionable time. You can check out PvD's original version on his MySpace page. Instead of going for the thumping Trance Energy style, i gear my remix towards more of the chill atmospheric vibe but still retain the big Trance lead sounds. You'll have to hear it for yourself. 2nd mashup of the month is a feel good summer jam of Beyonce vs. Snoop Dogg ft. Diddy & Notorious B.I.G. titled "Summertime Blown." Check it out in the Mashup page. This mashup is part of the newly released Summer Booty 2008 compliation. You can also check out the video of Summertime Blown on YouTube. Last but not least, the President of the Society of Publication Designers (a New York based organization that celebrates magazine design worldwide), Bruce Ramsay, contacted me to produce a song he planned to sing at their annual event. What was needed was the integration of his vocals over an existing track, with additional effects and beats. The result was a Broadway-ish flavor track with an Electronic vibe towards the end. I was finally able to combined the Hi-Tech Trance sound with the Urban R&B flavor. As for the second beat "Drumatik," I was going for more of an organic drum vibe that's usually not my style but I think I pulled it off.
